The JBJ Nano Arctica E-Chiller 20G (DBI-020) is JBJ's new compressor-free nano chiller for aquariums up to 20 gallons. A thermoelectric (Peltier) cooling chip with heat sink and fan cools the water 9-11°F (5-6°C) below room temperature, quietly and with no refrigerant.
Set the temperature anywhere from 60-94°F on the 3-digit LED display. The chiller powers on by itself and remembers your set point. The cooling exchanger is corrosion resistant for fresh or salt water, and the kit includes its own powerhead, so it is ready to run out of the box.
Not the older Nano Arctica. This E-Chiller (DBI-010 / DBI-020) is a different product from the older compressor Nano/Mini Arctica (DBI-038 / DBI-050-D); parts are not interchangeable.
