CO2-Proof Tubing -
Normal airline tubing can lose up to 20% of CO2 through its membrane. Silicone tubing reacts w/ CO2 and render it less efficient (thus the silicone hardening over time under CO2 usage). Our special CO2 Resistant Tubing loses less than 1% of CO2. Also perfect for saltwater use (eg: Kalkreaktor). Rated Class I for both CO2 and saltwater applications. Unlike other so-called CO2 Tubing which is rigid, ours is soft and flexible. Choose between transparent green, transparent blue and black. 4/6mm -ID/OD.

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is the essential element required by aquatic plants for photosynthesis. Most of the time sufficient carbon dioxide cannot be generated naturally in the aquarium so is must be added as needed. Therefore, consistent carbon dioxide monitoring is essential for a healthy plant system.
Each Dennerle kit includes a sample vial and reagents for 57 tests.
ANALYSIS:
1. One drop of reagent (2) is equal to 2 mg/l of carbon dioxide.
2. The level of carbon dioxide is determined by timing the total drops by 2. For instance, the level of
CO2 is 10 mg/l if the total drops of reagent (2) are 5 drops.
3. The level of carbon dioxide in the aquarium is influenced by the carbonate. Hardness
recommended level is a as follows:
5¢XDkh = 10 ~ 15 mg/l ; 10¢XDkh = 15 ~ 30 mg/l; 15¢XDkh = 30 ~ 40 mg/l 
Dennerle CO2 Visual Indicator -
Provides a long-term accurate indication of CO2 level in aquarium.

Mode of operation: CO2 is a very volatile gas. It diffuses through the special diaphragm on top of the test container. There it diffuses more over the air gap into the indicator solution. The CO2 Visual Indicator has a particularly fast reaction, both for higher and lower pH values.

Technical data: YELLOW = too much CO2 / GREEN = right CO2 level / BLUE - too few or no CO2
